Vision: To enable our members to develop in an ambitious, inclusive and sporting manner, within a welcoming Club

Mission 1: Excellence on the water

We will aim to:

  • Compete frequently at Henley Women’s and Henley Royal Regattas
  • Regularly win medals at Junior, British and National Masters Championships
  • Produce members capable of winning representative honours
  • Support a vibrant recreational squad
  • Provide equipment to match the Club’s ambitions
  • Develop experienced coaching and coxing pools
  • Expand the membership

Mission 2: Enhancing on the land

We will aim to:

  • Create a fully functional building to provide:
    • Land training
    • Social activities
    • Food provision
  • Improved changing facilities
  • Increase boat storage
  • Optimise funding opportunities
  • Implement a communications strategy
  • Examine alternative legal structures to best suit the Club’s operations

Active in the Community

We will aim to:

  • Develop the Junior outreach programme
  • Pursue community initiatives aimed at:
    • Sporting opportunities
    • Care of the river environment
  • Open the Clubhouse to a wider public
  • Foster links with selected charities
  • Embed relationship with Viking Kayak Club
